This is Wellington’s pre-eminent outdoor sculpture exhibition, a key visual arts feature of the New Zealand International Arts Festival. Featuring more than 80 works by leading and emerging New Zealand artists, shapeshifter is an exciting fusion of contemporary outdoor and indoor sculpture, set amongst the striking venues of the beautiful Civic Gardens and TheNewDowse. All works are for sale, with proceeds going to local charities.

Performance pieces are not shown due to their etherial nature, they are archived as video. These works are only accessible live or during real-time gallery shows. Most of the castings featured on this site are limited editions of 8, the edition copies are marked discreetly with the number and date, for example; 1/8 2010. There may be a further run of 4 copies labelled as artists proof for example; E.A 1/4 2010.

If a particular piece interests you that happens to have sold out. I am happy to accept commissions to produce a unique version of a particular work. These are labelled as such; Unique State, 2010
